Ayurveda
Ayurveda is considered by many scholars to be the oldest healing science. In Sanskrit, Ayurveda means “The Science of Life.” Ayurvedic knowledge originated in India more than 5,000 years ago and is often called the “Mother of All Healing.” It stems from the ancient Vedic culture and was taught for many thousands of years in an oral tradition from accomplished masters to their disciples.
Oriental and Alternative Medicine
Oriental medicine is a comprehensive and holistic medical system that includes Chinese medicine (CM) and other traditional practices. It has its own unique philosophy, diagnosis, treatment systems, and pharmacology.
Yoga and Meditation
Yoga meditation is a practice that combines the physical postures of yoga (asanas) with the mindful awareness of meditation. It has its roots in ancient Indian traditions and has been around for thousands of years. Unlike other forms of meditation that focus only on the mind, yoga meditation involves the whole body, so it’s a full body approach to wellness.
